Becoming aware of and overcoming personal bias when recruiting new
staff, so all candidates are treated fairly
Reviewing CVs and selecting candidates for interview
Preparing for and conducting interviews
Putting the candidate at their ease
Providing and drawing out information through effective questioning
skills
Listening for and dealing with incongruences
Working with HR guidelines and procedures

course style
Very participatory, providing a sound grounding in the necessary
skills. Theory and practical work is involved including conducting
interviews and video playback. Discussion and personal coaching
will be given by the trainer to ensure all can apply the material.
Learning methods will be drawn from Neurolinguistic Programming
(NLP) and Accelerated Learning (AL) to create a stimulating and
memorable event.
