INTRODUCTION
Being able to communicate well is a prerequisite for anyone who wants to be successful in business
or socially. The ability to put your ideas across, listen to others, build rapport, create cooperation
and influence others is integral to management, sales, service and support roles. In this intensive,
stimulating workshop one-day workshop, you will learn many techniques and skills in how to be an
effective communicator.

To increase delegate’s confidence and skill in communication in a range of work based situations.

To increase delegate’s understanding and skill in:
• understanding their impact face to face and over the telephone
• choosing your words to sound positive
• guiding the conversation to a successful outcome
• building active listening skills
• avoiding negative reactions in self and others
• creating rapport with others
• maintaining a positive mindset when working under pressure
